“SPECIALIZED VADO SL4.0 EQ” TEST BIKE ON DISPLAY ！！

For many generation, bike industry had a lot of development. 

Such as rim brake has chainged to disc brakes and even the usual wire type of disc brake has

changed to hydraulic disc brakes.

The technology of the materials are also progressing to give the rider ride more safe, faster and easier.

Today I would like to talk about the E-bike VADO.

[SPECIALIZED VADO SL 4.0 EQ]

VADO is E-bike from Specialized bassed by cross bike, Excellent choice for riding in the city or for those looking for a touring bikes.

VADO assist has three mode. eco mode, sports mode and turbo mode

You can select the mode by pressing the turbo button from the bike. (eco mode assist 35% sports mode 60% turbo mode 100%)

You can also customise how much the bike assist from each mode by using Specialized app.

SPECIALIZED APP 

From the app you can selet your goal as speed, distance or even how much battery life after the ride.

Using Specialized app you can save your ride history and check your ride style.

Anywhere you go the app will always support you.

Using the assist, front and the tail light will turn on automatically for your safe ride. 

From the motor, it will assist for max speed 24km/h

For distance it will support you up to 130km (depends on the mode and the road condition)

For those who wants super long distance, you can add SL RANGE EXTENDER BATTERY.

SL range extender battery will assist you extra 65km

Shonan is one of the most famous tour spot in Japan

From Tokyo you can feel the all the hot energy, passion and stress.

But from the shonan area unlike Tokyo, a lot of people comes to chill relax and find peace.

You can see green from the near mountain and go hiking.

Or you can see infinite blue from the Sagami Bay.

One of the most famous tourist Shonan region is Enoshima, Kamakura, Temple, etc.

I will like to share how I felt riding VADO. 

To evaluate VADO there are three point I would like to talk about.

1. How Moter reacts

The first thing I feel from the bike is how the moter reacts.

Most of E-bike reacts really quickly when the sensor detects the power from the pedal.

For beginners before getting use to E-bikes it can be a bit dangerous.

But unlike the other E-bikes SPECIALIZED VADO assist reacts naturally.

With the smooth drive you can relac and enjoy 🙂

2. Mode customizing

Able to customize the assist mode is a big advantage for riders.

The basic setting of the mode is Eco mode 35% sports mode 60% turbo mode 100%

If you feel like 35% from Eco mode is unnecessary you can switch it from your smartphone.

Make your ride style more comfortable with VADO!!

3. Weight of the bike 

VADO SL 4.0 EQ weighs 16.8kg (M size)

Most of E-bikes weigh over 20kg. Obviously the motor and the battery are heavy, and frame has to be durable to withstand that weight.

But SPECIALIZED VADO is light enough to carry with one hand.

VADO breaks the sterotype that E-bikes are heavy alleviates concerns.
